massage on the couch, No Hands, Aromatherapy Massage, Craniosarcal Therapy (CST) Techniques.
I am 32
years old and have been living in Cornwall for the last three years. I originally came from Kent, but moved to Wales
where I took a diploma in Art and Design. I then moved to Walsall where I became interested Sport and Fitness and qualified
with a VTCT diploma in Sport and Fitness Therapy, Swedish and Indian Head massage as well as level 3 YMCA in Nutrition.
Also while living in Walsall I study Counselling Skills at level 2, which in the furture Ill be looking at developing this
futher.
For many years my family came to Cornwall as my father is from here and
his family are Cornish, so I felt that this is where my roots are.
I have
a special interest in the spiritual aspects of complementary therapy looking at the connection of an individual's body,
mind and spirit.
I am have futhered my training to develop a better
understanding of how to help cancer patients with therapy and palliative care. I am currently participating in
voluntary work to learn new skills.
I
graduated from Cornwall College in 2008 with a Foundation Degree in Complementary Health Therapies and gained ITEC qualifications
in Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology, Holistic Massage and Aromatherapy.
Over
the next coulpe of mouths I will be doing courses in Thai foot massage and Thai yoga and training for the next
two years in Craniosacral Therapy (CST). This will enhance my work, skills and develop me further as a
person, to do the best i can as a therapist.
